Ring-based DCN Demonstrator Sample Clauses

Ring-based DCN Demonstrator. ‌ One of the long-term demonstrators that will be pursued in COSIGN implements a ring based network topology to realize a network with high flexibility and low cabling complexity. The ring based DCN will implement Space Domain Multiplexing (SDM) and Time Domain Multiplexing (TDM) to combine high capacity and high granularity of data connections in the network. Connections of different capacity tailored to fit the needs of an application can be provided based on doing optical switching in the space and time domains. The connections which can be offered in this way range between having a full optical path (fiber core or mode) continuously connecting two network nodes and establishing a connection consisting of a time slot in a frame of repeated time slots. This way the duration of the time slot and the size of the frame will determine the net bandwidth of the connection. Many connections requiring low bandwidth can thus share the same optical path in the network and a single optical transceiver e.g. in a ToR can connect to many different points of the network depending on the timing of transmission and detection. Figure 16 shows a schematic of the ring based topology combined with hierarchically structured optical switching nodes comprising optical switching functionality at both SDM and TDM level. • Quality-based Selection Services for assignments which the Bank agrees meet the requirements set forth in paragraph 3.2 of the Consultant Guidelines may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Quality-based Selection in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.1 through 3.4 of the Consultant Guidelines.

  • Web-based-WHOIS query RTT Refers to the RTT of the sequence of packets from the start of the TCP connection to its end, including the reception of the HTTP response for only one HTTP request. If Registry Operator implements a multiple-step process to get to the information, only the last step shall be measured. If the RTT is 5-times or more the corresponding SLR, the RTT will be considered undefined.

  • Ongoing Trunk Forecast Requirements Where the Parties have already established interconnection in a LATA, Onvoy shall provide a new or revised traffic forecast that complies with the Frontier Interconnection Trunking Forecast Guide when Xxxxx develops plans or becomes aware of information that will materially affect the Parties’ interconnection in that LATA. Instances that require a new or revised forecast include, but are not limited to: (a) Onvoy plans to deploy a new switch; (b) Onvoy plans to implement a new POI or network architecture; (c) Onvoy plans to rearrange its network; (d) Onvoy plans to convert a One-Way Interconnection Trunk group to a Two-Way Interconnection Trunk group; (e) Onvoy plans to convert a Two-Way Interconnection Trunk group to a One-Way Interconnection Trunk group; or (f) Onvoy expects a significant change in interconnection traffic volume. In addition, upon request by either Party, the Parties shall meet to: (i) review traffic and usage data on End Office and Tandem Interconnection Trunk groups and (ii) determine whether the Parties should establish new Interconnection Trunk groups, augment existing Interconnection Trunk groups, or disconnect existing Interconnection Trunks.

  • Return to Duty Testing Any employee who has tested positive on a drug and/or alcohol test, and who was afforded the opportunity to return to work, must test negative for drugs and/or alcohol and be evaluated and released to duty by the Substance Abuse Professional before returning to work.

  • Performance Measurement Satisfactory performance of this Contract will be measured by:

  • Performance Deficiency The Department or Customer may, in its sole discretion, notify the Contractor of the deficiency to be corrected, which correction must be made within a time-frame specified by the Department or Customer. The Contractor must provide the Department or Customer with a corrective action plan describing how the Contractor will address all issues of contract non-performance, unacceptable performance, and failure to meet the minimum performance levels, deliverable deficiencies, or contract non-compliance.

  • Loop Testing/Trouble Reporting 2.1.6.1 Think 12 will be responsible for testing and isolating troubles on the Loops. Think 12 must test and isolate trouble to the BellSouth portion of a designed/non- designed unbundled Loop (e.g., UVL-SL2, UCL-D, UVL-SL1, UCL-ND, etc.) before reporting repair to the UNE Customer Wholesale Interconnection Network Services (CWINS) Center. Upon request from BellSouth at the time of the trouble report, Think 12 will be required to provide the results of the Think 12 test which indicate a problem on the BellSouth provided Loop.

  • Agreement Exceptions/Deviations Explanation If the proposing Vendor desires to deviate form the Vendor Agreement language, all such deviations must be listed on this attribute, with complete and detailed conditions and information included. TIPS will consider any deviations in its proposal award decisions, and TIPS reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal based upon any deviations indicated below. In the absence of any deviation entry on this attribute, the proposer assures TIPS of their full compliance with the Vendor Agreement. No response

  • Trunk Forecasting Requirements 14.2.1 Initial trunk forecast requirements. At least ninety (90) days before initiating interconnection in a LATA, Alltel shall provide Verizon a two (2)-year traffic forecast that complies with the Verizon Interconnection Trunking Forecast Guide, as revised from time to time. This initial traffic forecast will provide the amount of traffic to be delivered to and from Verizon over each of the Interconnection Trunk groups in the LATA over the next eight (8) quarters.
