Common use of Roadway Drainage Clause in Contracts

Roadway Drainage. Roadways (public or private) may utilize swale drainage systems and are not required to have raised curb and gutter systems in areas of less than one (1) unit per acre, unless otherwise agreed at master planning. Roadway cross sections utilizing swale drainage will be designed, constructed and maintained to meet BMP standards (imposed by regulatory agencies) for stormwater quality. Roadway cross sections will be reviewed for approval at the time of proposed construction of such roadway based upon engineering and planning standards consistent with the PDD Standards.
