ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES OF THE GOVERNING BODY. The GOVERNING BODY is responsible for the policy decisions of the School; is responsible for hiring, evaluating, and terminating the Head Administrator of the School; and is entrusted with oversight of expenditure of public funds in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, including those pertaining to conflicts of interest, public school finance, and procurement. The GOVERNING BODY is ultimately responsible to the COMMISSION and the State for the academic, operational and financial performance and legal compliance of the School.
