Common use of Safety Precautions and Accident Prevention Clause in Contracts

Safety Precautions and Accident Prevention. The Contractor shall observe and comply with all requirements to the safety of the workforce to be employed on the project. Contractor shall comply with all safety measures recommended and required by any governmental agency, including the Department of Labor and Industry, Division of Accident Prevention of the Industrial Commission of Minnesota, and with the requirements of the Workmen's Compensation Act and any amendments thereof. Attention is called to the other paragraphs of these Special Conditions covering safety precautions and accident prevention. The Contractor shall be responsible for all safety issues on this project. The Contractor shall comply with instructions from the City for implementing any additional requirements for safety concerns.
