Safety Programs. To the extent required by OSHA or any other public agency, Construction Manager shall obtain each Contractor’s safety programs and monitor their implementation along with any necessary safety meetings. Construction Manager shall ensure that such safety programs are submitted to the District.

Safety Programs. The evaluator will rate the safety programs implemented by the proposer and compliance with all, appropriate Federal and State Agencies. Evaluation of training as well as mandated courses will be considered. Scores may range from a high of 20 points to a low of 0 points.
Safety Programs. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety programs required by applicable law, ordinance, regulation or governmental orders in connection with the performance of the Contract, or otherwise required by the type or nature of the Work. The Contractor's safety program shall include all actions and programs necessary for compliance with California or federally statutorily mandated workplace safety programs, including without limitation, compliance with the California Drug Free Workplace Act of 1990 (California Government Code §§8350 et seq.). Without limiting or relieving the Contractor of its obligations hereunder, the Contractor shall require that its Subcontractors similarly initiate and maintain all appropriate or required safety programs. Prior to commencement of Work, the Contractor shall meet with the campus Buildings and Grounds Manager, Project Manager, and Construction Manager to review Contractor’s safety precautions and implementation of safety programs during the Work.
Safety Programs. The Trade Contractor shall have a Project Safety Program consistent with the Standard of Care and all applicable requirements set forth herein. The Trade Contractor shall be bound by and adhere to any safety program the Construction Manager may have. If the Construction Manager reviews, monitors and/or coordinates with the Trade Contractor’s safety programs it shall not relieve the Trade Contractor from controlling its safety programs. The Trade Contractor shall also have controlling employer responsibility for the safety programs and precautions applicable to its Trade Contractor Work and the activities of other work in areas designated as within the control of Trade Contractor. Furthermore, the Trade Contractor agrees that the Trade Contractor will include reasonable precautions for safety of: (a) its employees on the Project and other Persons who may be affected thereby; and (b) all Project Participants. The Trade Contractor will also take reasonable precautions for the protection of the Trade Contractor Work, third-party materials and equipment stored on the Project Site in accordance with the Trade Contractor’s direction, and other property at or on Adjacent Property to the Project Site. 13.1.1 In addition to its defined meaning, for purposes of this Paragraph 13.1, “Hazardous Materials” also means any element, compound, mixture, solution, particle or substance which is or may become dangerous, or harmful to the health and the welfare of life or the physical environment if not used, stored or disposed of in accordance with Applicable Laws, including explosives, petroleum products, radioactive materials, hazardous wastes, toxic substances, any “PCBs” or “PCB items,” as defined in 40 C.F.R. 761.3, and any “asbestos,” as defined in 40 C.F.R. 763.63. 13.1.2 In the event the Trade Contractor encounters on the Project Site existing material reasonably believed to be Hazardous Materials which is not part of or a result of the Trade Contract Work and has not been rendered harmless, the Trade Contractor shall immediately stop the Trade Contractor Work in the area affected and report the condition to the Authority in writing. The Trade Contractor Work in the affected area shall not thereafter be resumed except by written agreement of the Authority, and Trade Contractor, if in fact the material is a Hazardous Material and has not been rendered harmless. Safety Programs. The Subcontractor will establish its own safety program implementing safety measures, policies and standards conforming to those required or recommended by governmental and quasi- governmental authorities having jurisdiction and by Honeywell and Customer, including, but not limited to, requirements imposed by the Subcontract Documents. The Subcontractor will comply with the reasonable recommendations of insurance companies having an interest in the Project and will stop any part of the Subcontract Works which Honeywell deems unsafe until corrective measures satisfactory to Honeywell will have been taken. Honeywell's failure to stop the Subcontractor's unsafe practices will not relieve the Subcontractor of the responsibility. A detailed written report of any accident will be furnished if requested by Honeywell. The Subcontractor will indemnify Honeywell for fines, or penalties imposed on Honeywell as a result of any safety violation by Subcontractor.

Safety Programs. It is mutually agreed that the Employer, the Union and all individual employees shall continue their program of safety measures for the protection of the employees and the property of the Employer, and also to promote and maintain the service of the Employer to the public.

No employee shall be required to perform work with unsafe equipment or perform duties that are not in compliance with safety procedures or protocols.
