Visits to Site. A. City will make visits to the Site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction as City deems necessary in order to observe the progress that has been made and the quality of the various aspects of Contractor’s executed Work. Based on information obtained during such visits and observations, City will determine, in general, if the Work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. City will not be required to make exhaustive or continuous inspections on the Site to check the quality or quantity of the Work. City’s efforts will be directed toward providing City a greater degree of confidence that the completed Work will conform generally to the Contract Documents.

Visits to Site. A. ENGINEER will make visits to the Site at inter- vals appropriate to the various stages of construction as ENGINEER deems necessary in order to observe as an experienced and qualified design professional the progress that has been made and the quality of the various aspects of CONTRACTOR’s executed Work. Based on information obtained during such visits and observations, ENGINEER, for the benefit of OWNER, will determine, in general, if the Work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. ENGINEER will not be required to make exhaustive or continuous inspections on the Site to check the quality or quantity of the Work. ENGINEER’s efforts will be directed toward providing for OWNER a greater degree of confidence that the completed Work will conform generally to the Contract Documents. On the basis of such visits and observations, ENGINEER will keep OWNER informed of the progress of the Work and will endeavor to guard OWNER against defective Work.
Visits to Site. The CEI or A/E shall maintain an office at the site for the exclusive purpose of observing the progress of the Work in order to evaluate, in general, whether the Contractor is achieving the applicable performance parameters as generally embodied in the Project’s design and communicated via the Contract Documents. The CEI or A/E shall not be responsible either directly or indirectly for the Contractor’s initiation, formulation, supervision or overseeing of construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures, or safety precautions, practices, procedures or program employed in connection therewith. These matters shall be within the exclusive discretion, control, and responsibility of the Contractor (s). CEI or A/E shall not in any way be responsible for the failure of Contractor (s) to perform the construction Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The CEI or A/E shall keep the County informed (i.e. written reports of the progress and quality of Work) and regarding the progress and quality of the Work performed by Contractor including but not limited to responsibility for assisting the County in responding to RFI’s, review and certification of Applications for Progress Payment, Application for Final Payment, periodic inspections including a Substantial Completion inspection and Final Completion inspection, as well as review and approval of the Contractor’s punchlist.
Visits to Site. A. Designer is to make periodic visits to the Site to observe the progress and quality of the Work. Designer is to determine, in general, if the Work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents based on observations made during these visits. Designer is not required to make exhaustive or continuous inspections to check the quality or quantity of the Work. Designer is to inform the OPT of issues or concerns and OAR is to work with Contractor to address these issues or concerns. Designer’s visits and observations are subject to the limitations on Designer’s authority and responsibility described in Paragraphs 9.09 and 10.07.

The architect/engineer shall not be responsible either directly or indirectly for the initiation, formulation, supervision or overseeing of construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures, or safety precautions, practices, procedures or program employed in connection therewith. These matters shall be within the exclusive discretion, control, and responsibility of the contractor (s). On the basis of such visits and on-site observations as an experienced and qualified design PROJECT MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGER will keep XXXXXXX informed of the progress of the Work and will endeavor to guard AUGUSTA against defects and deficiencies in the Work.

Visits to Site. 9.2 CONSULTANT must provide an inspector to make periodic visits to the site at each phase of construction to observe the progress and quality of the executed Work and to determine if the Work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. His efforts must be directed toward providing assurance for OWNER and all applicable regulatory agencies that construction is in compliance with the Construction Documents and applicable laws, rules and regulations. On the basis of these on site- observations as an experienced and qualified design professional, he must keep the City Manager informed of the progress of the Work and must guard OWNER against defects and deficiencies in the Work of CONTRACTOR.
