Common use of Salary Disclosure Clause in Contracts

Salary Disclosure. 8.05 The Employer shall provide, for purposes of this clause, regularly and within a reasonable period of time, to the offices of the Xxxx/Principal/University Librarian the following salary related information regarding each member of the bargaining unit: name, department/unit, base salary, year of appointment, year of highest degree, rank. The Xxxx/Principal/University Librarian shall seek in writing the consent of each member of the bargaining unit in that Faculty/Library to disclose the salary-related information above to other members of the bargaining unit. Such information for each member of the bargaining unit shall be held in the Office of the Deans/Principal/University Librarian of the Faculty/Library to which that member is primarily appointed. Members of the bargaining unit who have provided to the Xxxx/Principal/University Librarian consent for their own salary-related information to be disclosed may review in person in the Offices of the Deans/Principal/University Librarian the salary related information above of those other members who provide consent. The salary-related information shall not be distributed or publicized by those who review it.
