Salary for Special Lecturers a. The salary for faculty members employed as special lecturers will be determined by the aggregate number of years of prior experience as a special lecturer. Faculty members with less than four academic years experience as special lecturers shall be paid a minimum rate of $1,061 per credit taught during 2009-10. Faculty members with four or more years of experience as special lecturers shall be paid a minimum rate of $1,145 per credit taught during 2009-10. For faculty members with eight or more years of experience as special lecturers shall be paid a minimum rate of $1,234 per credit taught during 2009-10. For 2010-11, the respective rates shall be $1,072, $1,156, and $1,246; for 2011-12 the rates are $1,104, $1,191, and $1,284. b. In assessing the number of years of prior experience, Oakland will count each academic year during which the faculty member had an appointment as special lecturer or as a full-time visiting faculty member. For appointments preceding 1988, each semester appointment as a special lecturer shall be counted as 0.5 academic years. Summer sessions do not apply toward this compilation.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Six Month Delay for Specified Employees If any payment, compensation or other benefit provided to the Executive in connection with his employment termination is determined, in whole or in part, to constitute “nonqualified deferred compensation” within the meaning of Section 409A and the Executive is a “specified employee” as defined in Section 409A, no part of such payments shall be paid before the day that is six months plus one day after the Executive’s date of termination or, if earlier, the Executive’s death (the “New Payment Date”). In the event of termination of this Agreement, the fee provided in this Section shall be computed on the basis of the period ending on the last business day on which this Agreement is in effect subject to a pro rata adjustment based on the number of days elapsed in the current month as a percentage of the total number of days in such month.
