Common use of Same Day Requests Clause in Contracts

Same Day Requests. The employee shall call the designated office number (scheduling supervisor) and either speak to the scheduling supervisor or leave a message to request approval for leave as early as possible to allow for reassignment of the work. The employee must talk to the scheduling supervisor no later than the scheduled start of the employee’s shift. In the event that the scheduling supervisor is not available, the employee must speak to another supervisor in the Call Center. Requests shall not be considered as approved until approval is specifically granted by the responsible supervisor.
