Satisfactory Proof. Whenever in the performance of its duties under this Agreement the Rights Agent deems it necessary or desirable that any fact or matter be proved or established by the Corporation prior to taking or suffering any action or omitting to take any action hereunder, such fact or matter (unless other evidence in respect thereof be herein specifically prescribed) may be deemed to be conclusively proved and established by a certificate signed by a person believed by the Rights Agent to be the Chairman, the President, the Chief Executive Officer or any Vice-President and by the Chief Financial Officer, the Treasurer, any Assistant Treasurer, the Secretary or any Assistant Secretary of the Corporation and delivered to the Rights Agent and such certificate shall be full authorization to the Rights Agent for any action taken, omitted or suffered in good faith by it under the provisions of this Agreement in reliance upon such certificate.

Satisfactory Proof. Regular Employees may be required to submit proof satisfactory to the Employer of any illness, non-occupational accident or quarantine. Where the Employee must pay a fee for such proof, the full fee shall be reimbursed by the Employer.
Satisfactory Proof. Regular employees may be required to submit satisfactory proof to the Employer of any illness, non-occupational accident, or quarantine, for absences in excess of three (3) working days. The Employer reserves the right to ask for satisfactory proof whenever it suspects a pattern of sick leave abuse. The Employer will reimburse doctor’s notes up to a maximum of $100.00 a year for full-time employees and $50.00 a year for part-time employees. Doctor’s notes for documented habitual absenteeism will not be reimbursed. The Employer will advise the employee when the employee is no longer eligible for the reimbursement.

Satisfactory Proof. The VMO is to furnish evidence of the death or funeral arrangements satisfactory to the chief executive or approved delegate.
