Common use of Savings Initiatives Clause in Contracts

Savings Initiatives. (1) In its sole discretion, the Company may undertake initiatives in addition to the services described in this Contract for the purpose of saving additional money for the Plan. Examples of such initiatives might include, but are not limited to, subrogation and right of recovery, provider bill/fee negotiation and discounts on claims from providers outside of the Company's primary network of providers, and COB identification and recovery when performed by a third party vendor.
