Common use of SAVINGS PROVISION Clause in Contracts

SAVINGS PROVISION. No employee will as a result of the making of this Agreement, suffer any loss of existing wages or other benefits to which the employee is entitled prior to the date of the coming into operation of this Agreement except where specifically provided for by this Agreement. It is specifically agreed that this Agreement sets out minimum rates of pay and conditions and employers may provide greater benefits solely at their discretion.

No employee will as a result of the making of this Agreement, suffer any loss of existing wages or other benefits to which the employee is entitled would otherwise be entitled, through previous formal Agreements, prior to the date of the coming into operation of this Agreement except where specifically provided for by this Agreement. It is specifically agreed that this Agreement sets out minimum rates of pay and conditions and employers may provide greater benefits solely at their discretion.
