Common use of Schedule Change Premium Penalty Clause in Contracts

Schedule Change Premium Penalty. A premium of one-half (1/2) the basic straight time rate will be paid for all hours worked that do not coincide with the formal schedule, unless the employee is given a minimum of 48 hours advance notice of the schedule change. Such schedule changes without premium payment may be made to provide for temporarily vacated schedules as a result of sickness disability, promotion, reclassification, or termination.
