Overtime and Premium Pay. Section 1. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times an employee's regular straight time hourly rate of pay shall be paid for all work over forty (40) hours in one (1) week. Section 2. The Employer shall have the right to determine when overtime shall be worked. The Employer shall also have the right to require the performance of such work. In the event overtime is needed, the scheduling of said overtime will be according to Local Agreements. Section 3. In no event shall overtime or premium pay be pyramided or duplicated. Section 4. Premiums and On-Call pay for term of the National Addendum are specified in Appendix B, Premium Pay Rates. Section 5. The above provisions referenced in Appendix B will be implemented on July 1, 2016, or at such later time as the new payroll and HRIS system goes live.
Overtime and Premium Pay. (a) Any work in excess o f 8 hours in any day, or 40 hours in any week, and any work on Sunday or on any day ^ o f rest or on any holiday as herein provided, is and shall he considered overtime work. Such premium pay shall he deemed part of their V regular hourly wage with respect to applicable hours he­ reunder in the calculation o f overtime pay under the pro­ visions of this Agreement. Such premium pay shall he paid onlv for the weeks when such employees work such late shift. There shall he no change from such late work shift during the work week. No employee shall be changed to such late shift without the consent of the Union. (c) Full time employees (other than assistant xxxx­ xxxx, department heads and employees covered by para­ graph (b) o f this Article) reporting for work on any day before 4 P.M., if required to work after 7 P.M. on any day, shall receive, in addition to their regular hourly wage, premium pay o f $1.00 per hour for all work after 7 P.M. on any day, except that for all hours worked in excess o f 8 hours on any day, they shall be compensated at the over­ time rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly wage. (d) There shall be no pyramiding or duplication of overtime and/or premium pay.
Overtime and Premium Pay. For purposes of computing overtime and premium pay, holidays herein designated shall be regarded as days worked in the week in which they occur whether or not work was actually performed during such hours.

An overtime equalization chart shall be maintained by the person in charge of each building where three or more persons in any given classifications are assigned on overtime to make sure that the overtime is rotated. For the purpose of this clause, time not worked because the employee was unavailable or did not choose to work shall be charged the number of overtime hours available. Employees will not be charged on the Overtime/Equalization Chart for alarm calls. 6. For Sundays and holidays the rate will equal two (2) times the regular hourly rate. The provision applies to employees in each representational area. It is understood that midnight overtime begins 10:30 p.m. Saturday night through 10:29 p.m. Sunday night for double time. 7. Extra work is work which is available and can be performed by regular employees working less than eight (8) hours per day. Employees working less than eight (8) hours per day, during their regular scheduled work shift, shall be included on an extra equalization work chart for extra additional hours, based on a rotation system as is described in Section F.5. above, for overtime. Such work shall be equalized among and performed by employees within a classification. Same shall be in addition to their regular hours at straight rates of pay up to eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week.

Overtime and Premium Pay. Section 1. Work performed outside of the regular scheduled eight (8) hours per day and the regular scheduled forty (40) hours per week shall be paid for as overtime in accordance with the following regulations: A. If an employee is required to work outside of the regularly scheduled hours of 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is called back to work after leaving the job, the employee shall be credited with having worked four (4) hours within the appropriate rate of pay, except: 1. If an employee is called back to work for the sole purpose of changing one (1) traffic light, the employee shall be credited with having worked two (2) hours within the appropriate rate of pay. 2. If an employee comes in up to two (2) hours before the starting time on a normal work day for the sole purpose of a scheduled customer outage or to work at a City of Xxxxxxxx property outside of the City of Hamilton’s corporate limits, he or she shall be credited with having worked two (2) hours within the appropriate rate of pay. B. Work performed after regular scheduled working hours shall be paid for at 1½ times the regular rate of pay until 10:00 p.m. C. After 10:00 p.m., double time shall be paid for work performed until the scheduled starting time of the next day. D. Double time shall be paid for all work performed on Sundays when it is the employee's second scheduled day of rest. E. Employees working Sunday when it is part of their regularly scheduled workweek and not a scheduled day of rest shall receive a premium of 50% per hour based upon their straight time hourly rate for all hours worked. F. Employees working Saturday when it is part of their regularly scheduled workweek and not a normally scheduled day of rest shall receive a premium of 25% per hour based upon their straight time hourly class rate for hours worked.
Overtime and Premium Pay. ‌ 36.01 Overtime will be calculated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay and shall be paid for work under any of the following conditions: A. All work performed in excess of the employee’s normally scheduled shift in any one day (i.e. in excess of 8 hours for those on 8 hour shifts and in excess of 10 hours for those on 10 hour shifts), except in the following cases: 1. Where time is lost during the workweek by reason of unexcused absence; 2. Where the excess hours result from employees trading shifts or hours. B. All work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week. Holidays not worked shall count toward computation of overtime unless falling on a regularly scheduled day off. C. Holidays, annual leave, and sick leave falling within the normal workweek shall count towards the computation of daily and/or weekly overtime. The City agrees that it will not schedule employees off for the purpose of avoiding overtime; X. Xxxx performed on the seventh (7th) day in the scheduled workweek for those employees engaged in continuous operations; E. Notwithstanding the above, employees assigned to the Investigations Division and support staff in all divisions shall have the option of taking the time off in lieu of receiving pay for said hours, provided that the hours are taken off within those employees’ work cycle. 1. Compensation time is a benefit afforded to the Investigations Division, Support Services Division, as well as other support staff as an alternative to overtime. 2. Compensation time may be awarded on a case-by-case basis only in situations where overtime pay would be justified through a mutual agreement between the employee and their supervisor. 3. Compensation time may be awarded to employees who have been required to work over and above one of the following:
