Common use of Schedule for Rendering Services Clause in Contracts

Schedule for Rendering Services. 3.1 Engineer is authorized to begin Services as of the Effective Date. 3.2 Engineer shall complete its obligations within a reasonable time. Specific periods of time for rendering Services, if any, or specific dates by which Services are to be completed, if any, are set forth in Exhibit B, and the Parties hereby agree such periods of time or specific dates are reasonable. 3.3 If Owner authorizes changes in the scope, extent, or character of the Project, then the time for completion of Engineer’s Services, and the rates and amounts of Engineer’s compensation shall be adjusted equitably. 3.4 If the Engineer is hindered, delayed or prevented from performing under the Agreement as a result of any act or neglect of the Owner (or those for whom the Owner is responsible) or force majeure, the time for completion of the Engineer’s work shall be extended by the period of the resulting delay and the rates and amounts of Engineer’s compensation shall be adjusted equitably. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to acts of God, wars, terrorism, strikes, labor walkouts, fires, natural disasters, or requirements of governmental agencies.
