Common use of Scheduled Interpreter Requests Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Interpreter Requests. A “scheduled interpreter request” is a request for an interpreter made two (2) or more hours before the services of the interpreter are required. For scheduled interpreter requests, GPCS will make a qualified interpreter available at the time of the scheduled appointment. If an interpreter fails to arrive for the scheduled appointment, upon notice that the interpreter failed to arrive, GPCS will immediately call an interpreter service for another qualified interpreter.

For scheduled interpreter requests, GPCS CPOT will complete the assessment described in paragraph 22 above in advance, and, when an interpreter is appropriate, CPOT will make a qualified interpreter available at the time of the scheduled appointment. If an interpreter fails to arrive for the scheduled appointment, upon notice that the interpreter failed to arrive, GPCS CPOT will immediately call contact an interpreter service for another qualified interpreter.
