  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.

  • Splitting of Vacation Periods ‌ Annual vacations for employees with ten (10) work days’ vacation or more shall be granted in one (1) continuous period but may, upon request from the employee, be divided, subject to the approval of the Employer, provided that the following shall apply: 1. The Employer’s approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, taking into consideration the operational requirements of the department; and 2. At least one block of vacation shall be at least five (5) days in duration. Employees wishing to split their vacations shall exercise seniority rights in the choice of the first vacation period. Seniority shall prevail in the choice of the second vacation period, but only after all other “first” vacation periods have been approved. Seniority shall also prevail in the choice of each subsequent vacation period, but only after each previous vacation period has been approved. Annual vacations for employees with less than ten (10) work days’ vacation shall be granted in one (1) continuous period.

  • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Employment and Term The Company hereby agrees to employ the Executive and the Executive hereby agrees to serve the Company on the terms and conditions set forth herein.

  • Contract Term and Termination 14.1 The Contract becomes effective when the Holder / Authorized user receives the card and the PIN and is valid for a period of 60 months with the possibility of being automatically extended for new successive periods of 60 months. If neither party sends the other party a written notification at least 30 days before the expiry of the initial term or of any of the extended terms, specifying that it does not wish to extend the Contract.

  • Term of Employment and Termination The Company and Executive acknowledge that Executive's employment is and shall continue to be at-will, as defined under applicable law, and that Executive's employment with the Company may be terminated by either Party at any time for any or no reason (subject to the notice requirements of this Section 4). This "at-will" nature of Executive's employment shall remain unchanged during Executive's tenure as an employee and may not be changed, except in an express writing signed by Executive and a duly authorized officer of the Company. The term of this Agreement and Executive’s employment hereunder shall commence on the Effective Date and continue until terminated as set forth in this Section 4. The date on which Executive’s employment terminates, as determined by the Company, regardless of the reason, shall be referred to herein as the “Separation Date.” Upon termination of Executive's employment for any reason, Executive shall be deemed to have resigned from all offices and directorships, if any, then held with the Company or any of its subsidiaries.

  • Grant and Term 2.1 In consideration of the payment of the Site Fee, the Owner grants the Principal Occupant a licence to store the Dwelling on the Site subject to the terms of this Agreement. 2.2 This Agreement commences on the Commencement Date and shall continue until the Expiry Date or such earlier date upon which it is terminated in accordance with this Agreement or as specified in the Schedule. 2.3 For the avoidance of doubt, the Owner and the Principal Occupant acknowledge that they each enter into this Agreement based on their common intention that the Site is to be used for storing the Dwelling for the Term and that the use of the Dwelling by the Occupants as permitted by this Agreement shall be for holidaying purposes only and under no circumstances shall any person who has the right to use the Site under this Agreement be or become a resident or a site tenant within the meaning of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 (Vic).
