Common use of Scientific Lead Clause in Contracts

Scientific Lead. Each Party shall designate in writing within fifteen (15) days after the Effective Date, a “Scientific Lead” with all necessary scientific skill and expertise to fulfil such role in accordance with this Article 2, to be the primary contact for such Party responsible for managing day-to-day communications between the Parties with respect to the technical aspects of the Technology Transfer and other scientific and technical activities (including any Additional Services) set forth in this Agreement, including responsibility for scheduling teleconferences and coordinating meetings and technical support as required hereunder. Each Party may respectively appoint a substitute Scientific Lead to represent it under this Section 2.1.1.
