Continuing as Plan Sponsor Nothing in this Disaffiliation Agreement shall prevent Local Church, after the Disaffiliation Date, from continuing to sponsor benefit plans from the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits, to the extent permitted by federal law, and provided that Local Church has not expressly resolved that it no longer shares common religious bonds with The United Methodist Church.
Christmas Period Article 16 relating to scheduling during this period will apply, except as modified to confirm that the weekend shift employee will continue to work weekends during this period.
Deducted as They Accrue Liquidated Damages shall be deducted from periodic payments as they accrue and such deduction shall be in addition to the retainage provided for in the Contract. The remaining balance of any Liquidated Damages shall be deducted from the Payment for Material Completion to the Contractor or its Surety. If the unpaid balance of the Contract Sum is less than the total amount to be deducted for Liquidated Damages as herein above provided, the Contractor shall promptly pay to the Owner, upon the Owner's demand, the amount by which such sum exceeds the unpaid balance of the Contract Sum.
Business Leave Each teacher shall be allowed five (5) days per year non-accumulative, deducted from sick leave allowance, for employee absence due to emergency, business, professional, household, or personal matters that cannot be attended to outside of working hours. Prior approval must be given by the administration with the exception of emergencies. The use of business leave will be allowed immediately preceding or following a school holiday, provided a substitute is available. In no instance shall more than two (2) teachers from Xxxx Xxxxx Middle School, two (2) teachers from College Place High School, and four (4) teachers from Xxxxx Elementary School be allowed business leave on the same day.

Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.
Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
Discharge Planning If further care at home or in another facility is appropriate following discharge from the Hospital, Blue Shield will work with the Member, the attending Physician and the Hospital discharge planners to determine the most appropriate and cost effective way to provide this care.
Non-Instructional Employees The School shall ensure that the School's non-instructional employees or agents are experienced and fully qualified to engage in the activities and perform the services required under this Contract, and that all applicable licensing and operating requirements imposed or required under federal, State, or county laws, and all applicable accreditation and other standards of quality generally accepted in the field of the activities of such employees and agents are complied with and satisfied.
Long Term Substitute A substitute who remains in a single assignment of forty-five (45) or more consecutive workdays.
