Common use of Scope of Work – Architectural Services Clause in Contracts

Scope of Work – Architectural Services. A. A-E professional services shall include, but not limited to the development of feasibility, planning, estimation and basic design components forming a basis of design for building construction or building repairs or building physical makeup that meet aesthetic, functional, structural, and safety factors for the construction or repair of any type of building component, overall layout of the projected building, or any aspect of a building or structure; ensuring that these items meet applicable codes & standards. B. A-E professional services may include to provide for facility condition assessment of existing building mechanical, electrical & lighting, plumbing, roofing, fire systems and finishes; seismic and geotechnical risk assessment; and provide a summarization of short term and long-term recommendations for the repair and replacement of the building systems and structure integrity. C. A-E professional services may include design and related administration services for Alternate Project Delivery Methods for Job Order Contracting (JOC), Construction Manager At-Risk (XXXX), and Design-Build. D. Architectural Design: i. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to: Space Planning, Programming, Tenant Office Improvement; Building Interior Alteration; Regional Park Facility, Picnic Shelter Refurbishment, Various other Improvements; Miscellaneous Library Improvement, Entry Plaza Re-design; Building Exterior Repair, Improvement and/or Addition; Restroom Construction and/or Restoration; ADA Compliance and Improvement; Various Roof Systems Replacement; Exterior Door and Storefront Replacement; Existing Building MEP System, Seismic and Geotechnical Risk Assessments; Demolition Plan with Record Drawing.
