SCOPE, RECOGNITION AND DURATION. 1:01 This Agreement shall apply only to members of Unit E employed by the Toronto Police Service as hereinafter defined. 1:02 Provided at least 50% of the members of the Service belong to the Association, the Board shall recognize the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all members of the Service save and except the Chief, the Deputy Chiefs, and senior officers (as defined in s.114 of the Police Services Act) represented by the Toronto Senior Officers Organization. 1:03 The terms and conditions herein contained shall remain in full force and effect for the period extending from January 1, 2002, until December 31, 2004, and thereafter, until replaced by a new collective agreement, decision or award. Either party may give notice to the other party at any time after ninety days before December 31, 2004 that it desires to bargain for a new collective agreement or amendments to the existing collective agreement. Within fifteen days from the service of such notice, each party shall provide to the other party a list of the changes to the collective agreement it desires.
