Common use of Second-level Management Representative Clause in Contracts

Second-level Management Representative. If the grievance is not resolved in the informal process, it may be formally submitted to the second-level management representative designated by the appointing authority. The grievance shall be submitted within seven (7) days after receipt of the decision of the informal process and shall be submitted formally in writing stating the nature of the grievance and the suggested solution. Within seven (7) days after receiving the written grievance, the second-level management representative shall meet with the employee. Within seven (7) days thereafter a written decision shall be delivered to the employee.
