Section 16 – PTO Cash Out. Benefitted nurses may request PTO cash out twice (2 34 times) a year in accordance with the Hospital’s established PTO cash out policy in 1 existence at the time of the request. Unless otherwise provided by law, the PTO cash 2 out will not include shift differential. An employee may donate up to forty (40) hours of 3 accrued PTO time per calendar year to another employee to utilize as sick time, with the 4 understanding that such donation does not extend the forty (40) hour limit for protected 5 leave under the Oregon Sick Leave law (OL 537, 2015).
