Common use of Section P. Staffing Safety Clause in Contracts

Section P. Staffing Safety. The Employer intends to staff unit work assignments at safe levels. If an individual assignment is closed down or on-shift training is conducted, it shall be done in a manner which does not diminish the safety of Bargaining Unit employees in other unit assignments which remain active. If an alleged violation of this Article is grieved, the burden of proof that staff safety is diminished will rest with the Union.
