Selection of Employees To Be Reduced. A. In selecting the employee(s) to be reduced, the Board shall select the least senior member of the classification being reduced. The classifications shall be those reflected in Article 17 -- Transfers. B. The district may forego the use of seniority in the selection of employees to be reduced in those cases where the district can show that another employee's qualifications are superior to those of the most senior applicant's. The term qualifications shall include, but shall not be limited to, the job performance evaluations of employees.
