EXPERTS 1. Experts shall be accorded the following privileges and immunities so far as is necessary for the effective exercise of their functions, including the time spent on journeys in connection with such functions.
Experts and witnesses An official of a requested authority may be authorized to appear, within the limitations of the authorization granted, as an expert or witness in judicial or administrative proceedings regarding the matters covered by this Chapter in the jurisdiction of the other Party, and produce such objects, documents, or authenticated copies thereof, as may be needed for the proceedings.
