Common use of Senior Substitutes Clause in Contracts

Senior Substitutes. 2 Substitutes who have been active on the District’s substitute list more than three school years, employees 3 who have retired from teaching after at least one year of teaching in this District, or employees in the layoff 4 pool may request “senior substitute status.” Senior substitutes will be called in the order of seniority for 5 substitute assignments for other than “same day work” when:
