NO STRIKE OR LOCKOUTS. 3.01 The Employer agrees that, during the term of this Agreement or any extension thereof, it will not cause or direct any lockouts of its employees and the Union agrees that during the lifetime of this Agreement or any extension thereof, there will be no strike, picketing, slowdown or stoppage of work, either complete or partial.
3.02 It is understood and agreed that employees covered by this Agreement shall not honour any picket lines at any locations for which the Employer provides security services. The Union and its members acknowledge its obligations under the Ontario Labour Relations Act to continue to work and perform their duties and discharge them faithfully during a strike by the employees of the Employer's clients.
NO STRIKE OR LOCKOUTS. 6.1 The Association and its members will not encourage, support or participate in any strike as defined in the "New Mexico Highlands University Labor Management Relations Resolution."
6.2 The University will not cause, instigate, or engage in lockouts of faculty.
NO STRIKE OR LOCKOUTS. During the term of this Agreement, no member of the bargaining unit shall withhold services, orengage in any strike, slowdown, or refusal to perform assigned duties, or interrupt the normal operations of the College. If there is a violation of this paragraph, the involved members of the bargaining unit will be subject to disciplinary action. The College agrees that there shall be no lockouts during the term of this Agreement. Violation of this paragraph by the College shall subject the College to the grievance procedure contained herein and if it is established that the College engaged in an unlawful lockout during the term of this Agreement, the College shall be required to pay the wages of those employees locked out for the period of the lockout.
NO STRIKE OR LOCKOUTS. During the term of this agreement or any renewal thereof, there shall be no strike or lockouts as defined in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.

5.02 It is further agreed that management will not lock out its employees during the lifetime of this Agreement.
5.03 The word “Strike” and the word “Lock-out” shall be deemed to have the meaning given those words in the Labour Relations Act, S.O. 1995.

In the event that an employee is unable to perform his/her assigned duties because equipment or facilities are not available due to a strike, work stoppage or slowdown by any other employees, such inability to provide work shall not be deemed a lockout and Graduate Assistants shall not suffer any subsequent loss of pay or benefits.
Section 2 The Union, on its own behalf and the behalf of its officers, agents, members, and bargaining unit employees, agrees that during the term of this Agreement, it shall neither engage in, encourage, cause nor sanction the members of the bargaining unit to strike, honor another union’s picket lines, or engage in unconventional strikes not protected for private sector employees under the National Labor Relations Act, effective in 1995. These unconventional strikes include sit-down, slowdown, rolling or intermittent or on-and-off again strikes. For the purposes of this Article, a strike includes picketing other than informational picketing consistent with the University’s Time, Manner and Place Rules for Speech Activities, walkout, refusal to work, mass absenteeism, slow down of any kind, any other stoppage or interruption of work, whether done in concert or singly. Employees engaging in such strikes, unconventional strikes or work stoppages or who honor another union’s picket line may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal subject to the provisions of Article 17 –

NO STRIKE OR LOCKOUTS. 12.01 The Union undertakes and agrees that while this Agreement is in operation neither the Union nor any employee shall take part in or call or encourage any strike, picketing, sit-down, slowdown, or any suspension or stoppage of or interference with work or production against the Board which shall in any way affect the operation of the Board, nor shall there be any sympathy strikes or secondary boycotts and the Board agrees that it will not engage in any lockouts during the term of this Agreement.
12.02 When a full-time employee, or a part-time employee has made an attempt to cross and has been unable to have access to his/her place of work due to a strike action by another union, the employee will proceed to the nearest Halton District School Board facility not under strike action. The employee will contact his/her Field Supervisor of Facility Services Department and await instructions. If instructions are not received by the employee the remainder of his/her shift will be completed at the facility in which the employee gained access.
