Common use of Seniority Pool Clause in Contracts

Seniority Pool. Employees subject to layoff shall form a pool and be ranked in order of seniority. At all times, the Employee with most seniority in the pool will be first to identify her/his preference for available options. As Employees with less seniority are displaced, they will be added to the pool and ranked in order of seniority to identify her/his preferred option.
