Such full-time Nurse will continue to be classified as a full- time Nurse and covered by those provisions related to full-time Nurses.

Temporary Full-Time Vacancies. Full-time employees may be considered for temporary full-time vacancies on the same basis as regular part-time employees provided for at Article 10.07(d) of the Central Collective Agreement. Temporary Full-Time Vacancies. 26.01 Temporary full-time vacancies shall be posted only when a full-time employee is expected to be absent for eight (8) weeks or more. The full-time employee must provide the Employer with satisfactory written documentation stating the expected period of absence. When an employee is absent for eight (8) weeks or more, notwithstanding that the employee did not expect to be absent for this period, the Employer shall immediately post the vacancy in accordance with 26.02, below.
Temporary Full-Time Vacancies. The Alliance and the Union agree that it is appropriate to consider full time nurses for temporary full time vacancies of greater than six (6) months, on the same basis as part time nurses, in accordance with Article 10 of the central Collective Agreement. The Alliance reserves the right to restrict the number of nurses from one area and at one time who apply for such temporary full time vacancies. A nurse may make written request to be considered for temporary full time vacancies by advising the Alliance and completing a Temporary Full Time Vacancy Request Form indicating her/his name, qualifications, experience, present area of assignment, seniority and requested area of temporary assignment. A Temporary Full Time Vacancy Request Form shall become active as of the date it is received by the Alliance and shall remain in effect until December 31 following. Such requests will be considered as applications for temporary vacancies of greater than six months.
Temporary Full-Time Vacancies. Temporary full-time vacancies within the bargaining unit as a result of absences due to illness, accident and approved leaves of absence (including pregnancy and parental leave) and are known to last up to twelve (12) months shall be posted. The posting procedures for full-time, temporary vacancies shall apply to the first vacancy. Subsequent full-time, temporary vacancies shall be filled at the Employer’s discretion.

A full-time nurse may make written request to be considered for temporary full-time vacancies by utilizing the Request for Transfer Form. I-7 Errors on pay Any errors in pay calculations caused by the Hospital, resulting in an amount in excess of twenty-two (22.5) hours pay at the nurses’ regular straight time hourly rate, will be paid by direct deposit, five (5) business days from the time of notification, provided the nurse has provided the necessary banking information. All other errors will be corrected on the next pay.

Any full-time positions subsequently becoming vacant as a result of compliance with above, shall be filled from the applicant pool relating to the posting by the most senior employee qualified to perform the subsequent vacancy, with priority accorded to full-time employees. An employee who is the successful applicant to a temporary full time vacancy may apply for any other temporary position, provided the dates of the two assignments do not overlap. An employee who is the successful applicant to a temporary full-time vacancy if already a member of the part-time bargaining unit, remain in that unit during the whole of the temporary full-time period, and shall be covered by the terms of the part-time Collective Agreement, including the percentage in lieu of all benefits. Where an employee who is the successful applicant to a temporary full-time vacancy is subsequently successful in obtaining a permanent vacancy, the remaining term in the temporary full-time vacancy shall be posted providing that the remaining term is in excess of six (6) weeks. Article shall, if applicable, apply to the remaining term.
