Seniority rights, insurance, and privileges. Employee benefits and seniority rights (seniority rights will remain constant and not accumulate) held by an employee at the time of application for a leave shall be retained during the period of authorized leave. Participation in insurance programs and such other services for which payroll deduction is authorized may continue at the employee’s option, and with the carrier’s approval, provided prepayment of amounts due are directly transmitted by the individual to the school district payroll department.
