Common use of Service and Assistance Animals Clause in Contracts

Service and Assistance Animals. As indicated in the University's Service and Assistance Animal Policy, students seeking to have a service or assistance animal reside in University housing because of a disability may make a request to the Office of Disability Services. Students seeking to have an assistance animal reside in University housing will be required to provide documentation of the qualifying disability, information about how the animal serves as an accommodation for the disability, and information about how the animal relates to the individual's ability to use and enjoy University housing. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis
