EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund the amount identified at Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and shall remit such contributions to the Union together with union dues, and in the manner described at Article 7.04.
18.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, in matters relating to Health and Safety, and to instruct specific members in effective labour relations practices.
18.03 Having regard to the demands of the Employer’s work and operations, the Employer will cooperate with the Union when safety and related courses are made available to the members employed with the Employer.

17.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to job sites, to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, and to instruct specific members in labour relations.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund the amount identified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement.
18.02 The total amount owing shall be remitted monthly to the Union by the 15th of the month following the month for which the contributions were made. Contributions shall be itemized separately on the remittance form.
18.03 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, in matters related to Health and Safety, and to instruct specific members in effective labour relations practices.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 13.01 The Employer shall contribute ten cents ($0.10) for every hour worked for each employee covered by this Agreement and remit such contributions monthly, together with other remittances to the Union, and accounted for on the remittance form provided by the Union.
13.02 The purpose of the Education and Assistance Fund is to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to jobsites, to educate and instruct members in the competent and safe practice of their trade and to instruct Stewards in the practice of progressive labour relations on behalf of members.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 16.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund eighteen cents (18¢) for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement and shall remit such contributions to the Union's Administrator as set out in Article 12.03.
16.02 The Employer will pay one hundred dollars ($100.00) for completion of a first aid certificate. This shall include new and renewal certifications which are in effect for at least twenty-four (24) months. The Union will bear the course costs and provide a similar reimbursement.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. The Employer shall monthly remit to the Local Union, together with the remittance of union dues, one cent (1¢) per hour worked for each employee in the Union’s bargaining unit. The remittance will show the number of hours worked by each employee in the month in question. This fund will pay for educational opportunities suggested by both union and management.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund twenty cents ($0.20).
18.02 The Employer’s contribution to the Education and Assistance Fund shall be submitted together with union dues and in the manner described in Article 7.03.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. The Employer agrees to contribute two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund upon receipt of an invoice from the Union. This amount shall be payable on January 15 of each year. The Union will deposit these education fund monies in a trusteed Education Fund, the purpose of which is to pay for employee seminars and workshops, including wage loss payments, travel and accommodation costs. Such seminars and workshops will deal with topics such as:
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 16.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Education Fund the sum of fifteen cents ($0.15) per hour for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and shall remit such contributions to the Union's Administrator.
16.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, in matters relating to Health and Safety, to instruct specific members in labour relations, and to keep employees in compliance with any new legislation requiring training.
16.03 The Employer and the Union agree that a Training Committee shall be formed for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual interest or concern regarding the educational needs of the Employees and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
