Common use of Service of Notice on Licensor Clause in Contracts

Service of Notice on Licensor. Any notice served by the Licensee on the Licensor must be in writing and is be sufficiently served if: (a) served personally or left addressed to the Licensor at the address stated in Column 2 of Item 11, of Schedule 1 or such other address as the Licensor notifies in writing to the Licensee; or (b) sent by email to the Licensor’s email address stated in Column 2 of Item 11, of Schedule 1 or such other address as the Licensor notifies in writing to the Licensee; (c) forwarded by prepaid security mail addressed to the Licensor at the address stated in Column 2 of Item 11, of Schedule 1 and every such notice must also be served on the Licensor’s solicitors, as they may be nominated from time to time, or such other address as the Licensor’s solicitors notify in writing to the Licensee, by any methods identified in subclauses 46.2 (a) and (b).
