Common use of Severability and Savings Clause in Contracts

Severability and Savings. A. During the life of this agreement, should any article, section, or clause of this agreement be declared illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, said part or portion, as the case may be, shall be immediately deleted from this agreement. Such invalidation of a part or portion of this agreement shall not invalidate any remaining portions of this agreement which shall continue in full force and effect.
