Common use of Severance and Unemployment Compensation Clause in Contracts

Severance and Unemployment Compensation. Without limiting the generality of Section 4.04, effective as of the Operational Separation Date, the UpstreamCo Group shall assume any and all Liabilities to, or relating to, UpstreamCo Group Employees and Former UpstreamCo Group Employees in respect of severance and unemployment compensation, regardless of whether the event giving rise to the Liability occurred before, at or after the Operational Separation Date. The Parent Group shall be responsible for any and all Liabilities to, or relating to, Parent Group Employees and Former Parent Group Employees in respect of severance and unemployment compensation, regardless of whether the event giving rise to the Liability occurred before, at or after the Operational Separation Date.
