Shift Staffing and Safety. The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in the continued development of safety programs for the purpose of achieving a safe and healthy work environment within the parameters of the firefighters/rescuer occupational series within the bargaining unit. In aid of the goal of providing a safe and healthy work environment, the Employer and the Union shall work together to promote staffing levels which achieve this goal.
