CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. 49.01 When critical incident or stress debriefing is requested by an employee, then the employee will suffer no loss of earnings for the duration of the shift. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #1 BETWEEN ALBERTA PUBLIC LABORATORIES (hereinafter referred to as the Employer) - and - HEALTH SCIENCES ASSOCIATION OF ALBERTA (hereinafter referred to as the Union)
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. A. Bargaining unit employees who become members of the Critical Incident Stress Management ("CISM") Team, shall be permitted, upon acceptance to the team, to attend two sixteen (16) hour courses offered by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). Bargaining unit employees shall be considered on a detail when attending such training courses during their normally scheduled work hours; and shall be compensated at 1-1/2 times their regular rate of pay for all time spent in such training courses on their day(s) off. Employees shall be reimbursed by the Employer for any fees that are required to enroll in the courses. All bargaining unit employees who are CISM team members shall be permitted to attend four
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. Upon recommendation of the CISM Coordinator, employees involved in a significant incident shall participate in a jointly administered Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program that includes the following at City expense:
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. The County and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee to discuss an appropriate Critical Incident Stress Management policy. Committee Members will be appointed by Management and the Union. The Committee Members shall consist of three management representatives and three Union representatives. The Committee shall commence on or about July 1, 2017, and issue its final report and end no later than June 30, 2018.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. Officers involved in a critical incident, which shall be defined as any situation faced by an officer that causes them to experience unusually strong emotional reactions (stress) which have the potential to interfere with their ability to function either at the scene or later, shall be provided the opportunity to attain Critical Incident Street Defusings and Debriefings from one of the volunteer CISD Teams located in New Jersey. Said debriefing and/or defusing may be provided at a Township facility, or on scene, and may be attended by any officer who feels they may be affected. Debriefings and defusings will be done on an officers own time and will not, in any circumstance, require the payment of overtime or compensation time from the Township. The Chief of Police may develop a policy to initiate a debriefing or defusing.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. The Union and the Employer endorse the concept of Critical Incident Stress Management and encourage the Employers to develop such policies and procedures.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. 24.1 The City of Palm Bay and the Fraternal Order of Police agree that the Police Department Standard Operating Procedure entitled “Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team Policy” shall be the established method of dealing with critical incidents experienced by members and no member shall be required to participate in this program.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. 49.01 A critical incident is defined as an event or a series of events that has a stressful impact sufficient enough to overwhelm the usually effective coping skills of either an individual or a group.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. A. The Employer will continue to provide training for, and access to, Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing, subject to its right to change the time, place and manner of such training. The Employer reserves the right to determine the number of CISM Team Members, and the qualifications of Team Members. Existing Team Members shall be grandfathered in. The selection of additional Team Members shall be at the Employer’s discretion. In order to participate as a Team Member, the employee shall not have had any disciplinary action of a Written Warning or higher during that last six (6) months. Time spent on Critical Incident Stress Management Team duties (including training) must be authorized by the Employer and will be paid as time worked at the training rate.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT. CONTRACTOR shall develop and maintain a Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program. CONTRACTOR’S CISM program shall be available at no cost to CONTRACTOR’S personnel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. CONTRACTOR’S CISM program shall be subject to AGENCY review.
