Shoulder Holsters. Troopers may wear a shoulder holster, providing the holster and weapon are kept concealed from the public while on duty and do not disrupt the appearance of the uniform. Troopers/sergeants assigned to plain clothes duty may wear a shoulder holster upon approval from the State Highway Patrol, providing the holster and weapon are kept concealed from the public while on duty. The holster and harness must be purchased by the employee and approved by the Employer.
