Sick Leave Accrual for Represented Full Time Employees. Sick leave shall be earned by each regular full-time employee at the rate of eight (8) hours for each full month of service. Employees shall be credited a prorated amount of sick leave for work less than a full month. Sick leave may be accumulated to a total of not more than one-thousand eighty hours (1080). Accumulated sick leave beyond one-thousand eighty hours (1080) shall be transferred to the employee’s VEBA account on a monthly basis.
