Signal Tandem Switching. 6.7.1 An IAM Signal Tandem Switching usage charge will be assessed for an IAM message that is switched by an SBC-AMERITECH STP and transported to an end office for tandem routed terminating traffic. When Signal Tandem Switching usage charges are assessed, Signal Switching and Signal Transport charges do not apply, except for SS7 Transport.
