The Signaling Link clause defines the requirements and responsibilities for establishing and maintaining a communication pathway between two systems or networks for the purpose of exchanging signaling information. Signaling Link. An end-to-end high-capacity data link (56 kbps) that transmits supervision and control signals from one network SS7 node to another in a CCS network.
