Significant deficiencies (1) The Contracting Officer will provide an initial determination to the Contractor, in writing, of any significant deficiencies. The initial determination will describe the deficiency in sufficient detail to allow the Contractor to understand the deficiency.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES The interim financial statements are prepared by using the same accounting policies and methods of computation as were used for the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2019, except the changes in accounting policies as follows.
Significant Non-Compliance a) A Competent Authority shall notify the Competent Authority of the other Party when the first-mentioned Competent Authority has determined that there is significant non-compliance with the obligations under this Agreement with respect to a Reporting Financial Institution in the other jurisdiction. The Competent Authority of such other Party shall apply its domestic law (including applicable penalties) to address the significant non-compliance described in the notice.
Effect on Other Entitlements F12.13 Compassionate leave with pay will count as service for all purposes.
Consolidation of Grievances If the grievance involves a group of employees or if a number of employees file separate grievances on the same matter, the grievances shall, whenever possible, be handled as a single grievance.
Audit Notwithstanding any other audit requirement, H-GAC reserves the right to conduct or cause to be conducted an independent audit of any transaction under this Agreement, such audit may be performed by the H-GAC local government audit staff, a certified public accountant firm, or other auditors designated by H-GAC and will be conducted in accordance with applicable professional standards and practices. The Contractor understands and agrees that the Contractor shall be liable to the H-GAC for any findings that result in monetary obligations to H-GAC.
Union Grievances 4/7/1 Union officers and stewards who are members of the bargaining unit shall have the right to file a grievance when any provision of this Agreement has been violated or when the Employer interpretation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement leads to a controversy with the Union over application of the terms or provisions of this Agreement.
Association Grievances If a grievance affects a group of employees or the Association, the Association may initiate and submit such grievance to the Superintendent directly, and the processing of such grievance shall commence at Step 2. Grievances involving more than one supervisor and grievances involving the administrator above the building level may be filed by the Association at Step 2.
Audit Results If an audit by a Party determines that an overpayment or an underpayment has occurred, a notice of such overpayment or underpayment shall be given to the other Party together with those records from the audit which support such determination.
Independent Entity 17.10.1 The SPD shall be an independent entity performing its obligations pursuant to the Agreement.
