Single Guests Sample Clauses

Single Guests. Single-room accommodations are subject to a single-room surcharge, which guarantees a private room without a roommate (where available). See individual Trip pages on our website for pricing details. In order to keep our single-room surcharges as low as possible, on occasion single rooms may be smaller than double- occupancy rooms. Single-room accommodations are not available on all Trips. Additionally, we cannot always guarantee single accommodations, even after reservations and confirmations have been made. For Guests who wish to avoid the single-room surcharge, we are happy to attempt a roommate match. We will do our best to find a same-sex roommate; however, if we cannot arrange a match, NHA may charge 50% of the single-room surcharge. Please consult specific Trip pages on our website for details. This amount will be charged approximately 60 days prior to departure. On all Custom-Designed Trips, 100% of the single- room surcharge will always apply, as there is no opportunity to arrange a roommate match. Please note the following policy for Guests who request a roommate match for the Trip: If a Guest who requested a roommate match for the Trip books any scheduled Extension(s) or pre- or post-Trip hotel night(s), the Guest will be responsible for the single-room surcharge for the additional service(s). If, however, the Guest’s matched roommate for the Trip books any of the same additional service(s), the matched Guests will be paired together in a double-occupancy room, at the double-occupancy rate, for all applicable scheduled Extension(s) and pre- or post-Trip hotel night(s). On certain Trips and most Family Trip Departures, children 6 years and older are welcome. However, while many 6-year-olds are well suited for some or all of our Family Trip Departures, some may not be ready for the expectations of group travel. For this reason, we recommend considering this age minimum as a guideline, rather than a hard and fast rule. We strongly encourage Guests to call our office to speak with an Adventure Specialist about the specific requirements of the Trip they are considering so they can make an informed decision about their child’s participation. Due to safety regulations, physical limitations and concerns regarding group dynamics, we do not allow children younger than 6 on our Trips. Additionally, some Trips, or specific activities within a Tri...
