Common use of Site Selection/Power Clause in Contracts

Site Selection/Power. GTE shall designate the space within its wire center and/or access tandem where Pathnet shall collocate its equipment. GTE shall provide, at the rates set forth in Appendix G described in Section 6.1, 48V DC power with generator and/or battery back-up, AC convenience outlet, heat, air conditioning and other environmental support to Pathnet’s equipment in the same standards and parameters required for GTE equipment within that wire center or access tandem. Standard 48V DC power shall be provided in 40 amp increments. GTE will be responsible for the installation of the AC convenience outlets, overhead lighting and equipment superstructure per the established rates.

GTE shall provide, at the rates set forth in Appendix G Attachment 2 described in Section 6.1, 48V DC power with generator and/or battery back-up, AC convenience outlet, heat, air conditioning and other environmental support to Pathnet@Link’s equipment in the same standards and parameters required for GTE equipment within that wire center or access tandem. Standard 48V DC power shall be provided in 40 amp increments.
