Demarcation Point. 9.2.1 The demarcation point is the end of the AT&T-13STATE provided interconnection cable at the Collocation arrangement (CDOW- AT&T owned frame location as assigned to the Collocator).

Demarcation Point. 98.1 CenturyLink will designate the point of demarcation between CenturyLink’s equipment and CLEC’s collocated equipment, which point of demarcation shall be in or adjacent to its Collocation Space unless otherwise mutually agreed to by the Parties. At CLEC's request, CenturyLink will identify the location(s) of other possible demarcation points available to CLEC, and CLEC will designate from these location(s) the point(s) of demarcation between its collocated equipment and CenturyLink's equipment. CenturyLink will use its best efforts to identify the closest demarcation point to CLEC's equipment that is available. 98.2 Each Party will be responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation point. 98.3 At CLEC’s option and expense, a point of termination (POT) bay, frame or digital cross-connect may be placed in or adjacent to the Collocation Space that may, at CLEC’s option, serve as the demarcation point. If CLEC elects not to provide a POT frame, CenturyLink will agree to handoff the Interconnection cables to CLEC at its equipment, at CLEC’s designated demarcation point. When CLEC elects to install its own POT frame/cabinet, CenturyLink must still provide and install the required DC power panel.
Demarcation Point. BellSouth will designate the point(s) of demarcation between DSLi’s equipment and/or network and BellSouth’s network. Each Party will be responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation point. For 2-wire and 4-wire connections to BellSouth’s network, the demarcation point shall be a common block on the BellSouth designated conventional distributing frame (CDF). DSLi shall be responsible for providing, and a supplier certified by BellSouth (“Certified Supplier”) shall be responsible for installing and properly labeling/stenciling, the common block, and necessary cabling pursuant to Section 6. For all other terminations BellSouth shall designate a demarcation point on a per arrangement basis. DSLi or its agent must perform all required maintenance to equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation point, pursuant to Section 5.6, following, and may self-provision cross-connects that may be required within the Collocation Space to activate service requests. At DSLi’s option and expense, a Point of Termination (“POT”) bay or frame may be placed in the Collocation Space, but will Version 3Q01: 10/22/01 not serve as the demarcation point. DSLi must make arrangements with a Certified Supplier for such placement. 5.5.1 In Tennessee, BellSouth will designate the point(s) of demarcation between DSLi’s equipment and/or network and BellSouth’s network. Each Party will be responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation point. For connections to BellSouth’s network, the demarcation point shall be a DSLi provided Point of Termination Bay (POT Bay) in a common area within the Premises. DSLi shall be responsible for providing, and a supplier certified by BellSouth (“DSLi’s Certified Supplier”) shall be responsible for installing and properly labeling, the POT Bay as well as the necessary cabling between DSLi’s collocation space and the demarcation point. DSLi or its agent must perform all required maintenance to equipment/facilities on its side of the demarcation point, pursuant to Section 5.6, following, and may self-provision cross-connects that may be required within the Collocation Space to activate service requests. BellSouth will negotiate alternative rates, terms and conditions related to the demarcation point in Tennessee in the event that DSLi desires to avoid the use of an intermediary device as contemplated by the Tennessee Regulatory Authority.

Satcom may, at its option, provide its own point-of-termination bay(s) in accordance with BellSouth’s guidelines and specifications, which BellSouth will provide upon request.
