Common use of Snow Removal Clause in Contracts

Snow Removal. During the entire term of the lease, Tenant is responsible for the timely removal of ice and snow in accordance with the City of Harrisonburg regulations. Regulations specify that the sidewalk and a path to the mailbox must be shoveled within 24 hours of the start of snowfall. Xxxxxx is responsible to make arrangements with a contractor, neighbor, or CP to shovel while they are away, especially over the Christmas/New Year’s break and Spring Break. If notice is given by the city for failure to follow snow and ice removal laws, CP will charge the regular notice fee (See § 61) to only the House Manager and not to all Tenants.
