Special Federal Rights for Planning, Research, and Development Projects. When FTA provides financial assistance for a planning, research, development or a Demonstration Project, it is FTA's general intention to increase transportation knowledge, rather than limit the benefits of the Project to participants in the Project. Therefore, unless FTA determines otherwise, the Recipient of FTA financial assistance to support a planning, research, development, or a Demonstration Project agrees that in addition to the rights in data and copyrights of Subsection C of this Section, FTA may make available to any FTA recipient, subrecipient, third party contractor, or third party subcontractor, either FTA's license in the copyright to the subject data derived under the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement, or a copy of the subject data first produced under the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement. If the Project, which is the subject of the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement, is not completed for any reason whatsoever, all data developed under that Project shall become subject data as defined in Subsection A of this Section and shall be delivered as the Federal Government may direct. This Subsection D of this Section, however, does not apply to adaptations of automatic data processing equipment or programs for MTS' use whose costs are financed with Federal transportation funds for capital projects.

Special Federal Rights for Planning, Research, and Development Projects. When the Federal Government provides financial assistance for a planning, research, development, or demonstration project, its general intention is to increase public knowledge, rather than limit the benefits of the project to participants in the project. Therefore, unless the Federal Government determines otherwise, the Contractor on a planning, research, development, or demonstration project agrees that, in addition to the rights in data and copyrights set forth above, CEDA or Federal Government may make available to any third party either a license in the copyright to the subject data or a copy of the subject data. If the project is not completed for any reason whatsoever, all data developed under the project will become subject data and will be delivered as CEDA or Federal Government may direct. This subsection, however, does not apply to adaptations of automatic data processing equipment or previously existing software programs for the County's use whose costs are financed with Federal transportation funds for capital projects.

  • Research, Science and Technology Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in research, science and technology, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to build on existing agreements already in place for cooperation on research, science and technology; (b) to encourage, where appropriate, government agencies, research institutions, universities, private companies and other research organizations in the Parties to conclude direct arrangements in support of cooperative activities, programs or projects within the framework of this Agreement, specially related to trade and commerce; and (c) to focus cooperative activities towards sectors where mutual and complementary interests exist, with special emphasis on information and communication technologies and software development to facilitate trade between the Parties. 2.   • Multi-year Planning Targets Schedule A may reflect an allocation for the first Funding Year of this Agreement as well as planning targets for up to two additional years, consistent with the term of this Agreement. In such an event, the HSP acknowledges that if it is provided with planning targets, these targets:

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.

  • Training and Development 14.1 The parties are committed to, and acknowledge the mutual benefit to the employer and employee of planned human resource development and the provision and participation in relevant development opportunities (including accredited training).
