Spring Assignment of Hours. Principals/program managers will begin drafting a mock schedule for the coming school year taking into account the preferences and building/workgroup seniority of the instructional assistants, qualifications and program needs. A senior instructional assistant who has requested a preference of hours shall not be assigned fewer hours than a less senior instructional assistant. Principals/program managers will meet individually with members to discuss the draft assigned schedule at the earliest possible time, but before the end of the current school year.
