Stacking, Storage and guarding of materials. 7.1) The stacking and storage of materials at site shall be in such a manner as to prevent deterioration or intrusion of foreign matter and to ensure the preservation of their quality, properties and fitness for the work. Suitable precautions shall be taken by the taken by the contractor to protect against atmospheric actions, fire and other hazard.
